This is how it all started. This pic came up on my flash back on Facebook from 4 years ago. I had been already delivering food to people’s offices and houses for 3 years prior to this. I use to make all the food in my kitchen every day at home and get in my car and deliver around london. Word of mouth spread and I got offered to pitch for Harrods and Selfridges to have my food in the food hall. I launched in Selfridges 5.5 years ago and got my book deal. It didn’t just get offered I had put a concept in front of a publisher 18 months before that that got rejected but the timing was right and it happened. Everything starts small from an idea but to make it happen takes hard work and dedication. You don’t see the stress sleepless nights and hours put into a business from pretty pictures on social media. I don’t often stop to look at what I have achieved but seeing this pic pop up on my feed this morning has made me remember how far I have come. 100’s of thousands of meals have been made by me over 1000 recipes created and I still love what I do. When you start a business you have to be passionate about it as you won’t get through the hard times without that. There have been times where I wanted to quit and work for someone else as I thought it would be easier but I’m probably unemployable! I don’t like being told what to do!! I have had times I haven’t had a penny in the bank and I don’t know how I’m going to pay bills but you graft and graft and find a way out. All I wanted to say this morning is if your in the shit with work trust it will get better and keep remembering why you started and if your about to start a business then go for it 100% and don’t give up. Let’s do this Monday I am feeling inspired now to make it a great week. Now time to hustle! #honestlyhealthy #business #smallbusiness #healthyeating #inspire by honestlyhealthy
